Water.Contractors LLC was founded in January 2026 by Grant Macdonald, a Clearwater Paper mill worker with a deep respect for hard work, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way.

Grant’s experience with exterior cleaning started long before the business was formed. Growing up, he spent countless hours power washing and staining family homes, learning firsthand how proper surface preparation, water pressure, and chemical selection make the difference between a job that looks good for a season and one that lasts for years. That early, hands-on experience laid the foundation for the work Water.Contractors provides today.

Grant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho, bringing a professional and technical approach to pressure washing and water-based cleaning. This background allows Water.Contractors to go beyond “just spraying water” — using the right chemistry, methods, and equipment to safely and effectively clean concrete, siding, roofs, and other exterior surfaces while protecting property and the environment.

Water.Contractors LLC is proudly based in Lewiston, Idaho. Grant lives here with his wife, who owns and operates a local baked goods business, MadeByMarylu.com, and their daughter, Ruby. Being locally owned and family-operated means every job is personal. The goal is simple: provide reliable, high-quality service that neighbors can trust and recommend.
